course overview

From Pratyahara to Samadhi

We ground our curriculum in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, exploring meditation as the natural progression of the Eight Limbs — moving from Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), to Dhyana (concentration), to Dhyana (meditation), to Samadhi (oneness).

Whether you are a yoga teacher expanding your offerings or a dedicated practitioner, this program provides the philosophical depth and practical structure needed to deepen your own practice and lead a group practice with confidence. You’ll learn how to hold space for meditation, sequence mental states, and use your voice and words as tools for transformation.

what you’ll learn

Curriculum

This course balances ancient wisdom with modern delivery techniques.

Philosophical Foundations

Explore the “why” behind the practice — the theory, science and psychology of meditation, drawing on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Upanishads. Understand meditation's effects on the mind, thought patterns and mental health, and the measurable changes in the body and brain.

Practical Techniques

Master a core meditation practice — for your own sit and for teaching — and find your voice as a meditation teacher.

The Teacher’s Toolkit

Three sample scripts, diverse class structures, and technical tips for both in-person and online teaching environments.

Guided Mentorship

Learn how to hold space effectively and manage the energy of a room — or a Zoom call.
